Girl Circle

Girl Circle is a mentoring and interactive program for female youth ages 9-13 designed to increase positive connection, personal and collective strengths, and competence in girls.

What is it?

This program is facilitated by one of Sow A Seed’s female group facilitators, trained by the One Circle Foundation. Girls meet weekly for 6-8 weeks for fun and engaging activities that focus on; celebrating individuality, diversity, getting along with others, and addressing goals, conflict styles, feeling good about ourselves, taking time to relax, understanding our emotions, finding local helpful resources, and more!

These topics are highlighted through group conversations, activities, and games. Girls will develop the necessary skills and expertise to expect and enact fairness, express oneself appropriately, and respect for self and others. Due to COVID-19, this program is now being offered online! For more information about our program, contact Sow A Seed’s office today.
